Norada.com is a site whose major offering is a CRM and Project Management solution called Solve360. Solve360 integrates CRM and Project Management applications into a dedicated web workspace for users. The product can be used by companies and organizations or teams and departments within them. Solve360 is centered around contact management, with applications for planning and scheduling activities and tracking their progress. One master user can add other users and restrict or provide access by them to various parts of the project. Users have a contact database, access to project blogs, and a dashboard, which shows recent activity on the project. To begin using the Solve360 application, each user can import their existing contacts via Excel CSV, Microsoft Outlook, vCard, Highrise or Goldmine format. Users are then organized into workgroups, with each member having access to the workgroup's contacts, project blogs and activities. The Dashboard provides a convenient tool for the project or team leaders to track the overall progress of the project. Entries in the Dashboard show Title, Description, For, Responsible and Date. All project data can be easily shared via CSV format.
Norada.com, founded by Steve Ireland, launched Solve360 in June 2008. The company is based in Calgary, Canada.
Competition to Solve360 comes from sites such as LeopardCRM and Worketc. Both of these sites offer a similar service to Solve360. LeopardCRM includes Sales Management, Marketing Campaign Management and Case Management applications. Worketc includes Billing as well as CRM and Project Management. Both of these sites offer a more complete, end-to-end project management tool than Solve360.
The site is quite responsive, and navigation is intuitive. There is a learning curve involved in using the applications provided by the site, but it is a fairly small one. The Solve360 application is entirely web-based, and runs in a variety of browsers, including Firefox, Google Chrome, Safari and Internet Explorer. There is no advertising displayed on the Solve360 site.
Registration to the Norada.com site is free and is required to use the site. A free 30 day trial of all plans is offered, with no credit card required. The registration process asks for company name, location (nearest the US or European Union), email address, first and last name and password. Validation of the email address is required.
Several premium membership plans are offered, and one is required to continue to use the product past 30 days. The plans include Pro, Plus, Basic and Solo. The Pro plan includes 18 users, unlimited contacts and 50GB of storage, and costs $149 per month. The Plus plan includes 6 users, 30,000 contacts and 20GB of storage, and costs $69 per month. The Basic plan offers 3 users, 10,000 contacts and 6GB of storage and costs$39 per month. The Solo plan includes 1 user, 5,000 contacts, 2GB of storage and costs $$24 per month.
Solve360 is recommended to anyone who needs an integrated, web-based CRM and contact management application. The application can essentially form a company or workgroup intranet. The Solve360 application is not as capable as some of the competition, but the pricing is very competitive.
